The Government engineering College was established in Rajkot with a vision of making the education reach a new dimension and to attain newer  heights and so far it has been successful in its goal. The college has the approval of All India Council for Technical Education and is associated to the Saurashtra University.

Courses Offered

The college provides the facilities of obtaining bachelor degree in engineering in the following disciplines Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Instrumentation & Control Engineering. Each of the departments has an intake of 60 students.

Among the list of companies recruiting the students many global industrial names are there some of them are IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP, Oracle, TCS, Honeywell and WIPRO.

Infrastructure

The detailed and superior infrastructure of the college is in exact sync with the developing minds of its students. There are separate blocks provided for each branch of engineering the college has and this is possible because of the huge campus. There are more than 180 DELL computers in the college computer lab which is still in growing stage.

Eligibility Criteria

The admission seeking students must lie within the age limit of 18 – 23 years at the time when they take the entrance test for the college. This criteria provides a leniency of 2 years for the upper age limit to the candidates who belong to SC or ST. Alongwith this the aspirant should have qualified his/her HS examination with a minimum of 45% in aggregate.
