NATBOARD(National Board of examination) conducts an entrance examination called DNB CET for the qualification of Diplomate of National Board(DNB) in various specialities. DNB is considered to be equivalent to post graduate and post doctoral medical degrees of other Indian universities by Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Students who qualify in the exam can apply for the institutes accredited by National Board of Examination for the course.
National Board of Examination was established by the Government of India in 1975. Students getting Diplomate of National Board(DNB) can be considered for specialist’s post/faculty in any Hospital
including a training/teaching institution on a teaching post/ as faculty member/ teacher/assistant professor/lecturer.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates having MBBS degree registered from Medical Council of India/State Medical Council and have completed or will complete 1 year internship before submission of form can apply for DNB CET.

• Last Date of submitting completion form: 06th April, 2010
• Date of Examination: 18th April, 2010
Availability of Application Forms:
The form can be downloaded from the website of National Board of Examination(NBE) www.natboard.edu.in . The fees for the application form and the examination fee has to be submitted by cash in selected branches of Indian Bank.
Pattern of Examination:
NBE CET will consist of 2 papers of 3 hours each both consisting of 180 multiple choice questions divided as mentioned.The papers will contain questions from the subjects taught in MBBS.
